Looking for great restaurants in northwest Ohio, or a change from the restaurants in Toledo?
Nestled in the heart of a grand old canal town is LaRoe's Restaurant. LaRoe's has been serving up fine edibles and spirits for over 35 years in Grand Rapids, Ohio, and has been a part of the restoration of this great village ever since Don and Audrey Entenman gave the village it's spark back in 1975. Now a truly unique restaurant destination in a thriving restored canal town, LaRoe's Restaurant and Grand Rapids welcome visitors all year round.
Unique? No other word could better describe this gem of restaurants in northwest Ohio. With its combination of Tavern with brass-railed bar, Dining Room with fireplace and historic area portraits, Riverside Patio overlooking the Sidecut Canal and the Maumee River, and the fashionable upstairs Banquet Room, LaRoes is truly one-of-a-kind and unlike restaurants in Toledo.
The regular menu includes a wide variety of favorites including Tilapia, Potato Crusted Whitefish, Shrimp, Charbroiled Chicken, Apple Baked Pork Chops, and Steaks. Soups, salads, breads, and signature deserts round out your meal. There's even a Kids menu with over 10 items! A large selection of draught and bottled beers, wines, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages will quench any thirst.
Sandwiches galore, luncheon and dinner specials, and a Sunday brunch are always on tap at LaRoe's. And speaking of 'on tap', try a LaRoe's Beer Flight with your meal. It is a sampling of six currently on-tap beers from the bar!
Need a great gift? When you give a LaRoe's gift certificate you are giving much more than just a great meal at a great restaurant. You are giving an afternoon or evening of great fun in Historic Grand Rapids!
"When you come to LaRoes, you will more than likely see owner Dave LaRoe seating guests, making and delivering drinks, or clearing dishes from tables. That is why LaRoe's is one of my all-time favorite places to go."
